HRLC Technology Committee

The charge of the HRLC Technology Committee is to disseminate and share information and resources regarding the problems and possibilities of integrating existing and new technologies into our Region’s libraries. The Committee will work to keep HRLC membership informed about technology and how it might affect our libraries; provide opportunities for members to learn; and serve as a clearinghouse for technology-related information.

WOW! I am overwhelmed!

I have spent the day exploring blogs, rss feeds and other interesting web things.

Some sites interesting sites I found today and recommend:

• bloglines
• newsgator

Each one of these will lead to many, many more sites and blogs! It is quite overwhelming!

All I can say is, there is A LOT to learn! It seems that there are several library and/or technology related blogs and feeds and so on out there - we are actually "behind" the curve! But what else is new in "library land?" ;-)

I think we could also provide folks with a list of "library blogs they need to read" (see list started to right), and a list of "library-related RSS feeds they should subscribe to" like LISnews.com, The Shifted Librarian, or Research Buzz.
